I have been using my Philips Hue Light Bars for a while now in conjunction with SImHub to create the ambient light effect (DNR Profile). Works really well to add to the atmosphere especially in sunny conditions and the shadows cast or at night under the lights. I bought these with the fins after being recommended them to see if they had any impact on that experience.
What a difference they make. What I didn't realise was the light reflections on the screen however subtle before have been removed, creating a more accurate recreation of the lights being reflected into the cockpit. Subtle but significant difference. At this price it's an easy recommendation to install these (takes seconds to attach) and enjoy the greater sense of immersion.
Installed the Phillips Hue Lights 45 degrees diffuser covers and what a difference, no more light bleed into my monitors. If you have Hue lights on your rig I definitely recommend you to get this diffusers to prevent light shadowing/bleeding project into your rig monitors. They came all away from Europe and the shipping was very fast…
